Now that August is here and it\u2019s finally warm (dare I say, even hot), I want to vape something that gives me that summer feeling.<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019ve vaped all sorts of fruit and drink e-liquids but the one that I started and haven\u2019t been able to move on from is Montego Bay.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s a simple recipe so I can make another batch up really easily (and I\u2019ll need to do that soon).\u00a0 Even if you\u2019re new to DIY mixing, you\u2019ll be able to mix this one and enjoy my new favourite all-day-vape for summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Recipe: Montego Bay<\/b><\/h2>\n

8% Honey Dew Melon \u2013 Pope & Brewer\u2019s Gourmet Flavours<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

5% Pineapple \u2013 The Flavour Apprentice<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

2% Mango \u2018Alfonso\u2019 \u2013 The Flavour Concentrate Company<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

1% Ethyl Maltol \u2013 The Flavor Apprentice<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Recommended steeping time: 5-6 days<\/span><\/p>\n

The Mix<\/b><\/h2>\n

I\u2019m vaping this with 3mg nicotine in a 70VG\/30PG e-liquid.<\/span><\/p>\n

To make 50ml, I used:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • 4.5ml PG (4.5g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 29.17ml VG (36.75g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 8.33ml nicotine (9.85g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 4ml Honey Dew Melon (4g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 2.5ml Pineapple (2.5g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 1ml Mango \u2018Alfonso\u2019 (1g)<\/span><\/li>\n
  • 0.5ml Ethyl Maltol (0.5g)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The vape<\/b><\/h2>\n

    As soon as this was mixed, I gave it a sniff and knew it was going to need a long steep.\u00a0 Pineapple is particularly well-known for that but it\u2019s definitely worth the wait.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The recipe recommends 5-6 days and I gave mine the full 6, just to make sure.\u00a0 It worked!<\/span><\/p>\n

    It has a really strong, fruity smell which made my mouth water before I\u2019d even filled my tank.<\/span><\/p>\n

    What I like about Montego Bay is that it\u2019s a tropical taste that isn\u2019t too tart.\u00a0 A lot of tropical fruit vapes can have a bit of a sharp tang to them and (as someone with an incurable sweet tooth) I like the hint of sweetness in this one.\u00a0 It tastes like a creamy cocktail and I can\u2019t get enough of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

    With the sun out, the green grass beneath my feet and my new favourite e-juice in my tank, I\u2019m set for summer.<\/span><\/p>\n
